Barker Shoes

Barker has been making shoes in Earls Barton, Northamptonshire since 1880, still hand-lasted and sewn at the same factory today. At Baks Menswear in Bournemouth, we stock Barker's classic English footwear.

We stock Barker because it's genuine English shoemaking, using traditional methods like slow natural drying that most factories abandoned decades ago.

Barker produces around 200,000 pairs of hand lasted, sewn shoes a year, all designed and made at the Earls Barton factory. Sizes typically run from UK 6 to 12.

If you want a shoe with genuine Northamptonshire heritage behind it, this is where to look.
